This APC Smart-UPS 2200 XL rack mount 3U is an extended runtime UPS. This UPS can have external battery packs attached to allow for a significant increase in runtime. It is a modular UPS providing the ability to expand as the need for run time increases. Up to ten external battery packs can be added to this UPS to provide an extremely long run time. If you need help configuring your UPS for a specific run time, contact us and we will configure it for you.
For example, with a load of 400W the UPS will provide a runtime of approximately 1hr and 32minutes. Once a SUA48RMXLBP3U battery pack is attached, the runtime available becomes approximately 4hrs and 17minutes. If two battery packs are attached, the runtime becomes approximately 7hrs and 31minutes. Each battery pack attached provides a significant increase in runtime available on the UPS.
