The APC Smart-UPS XL 48V SU48BP Battery Pack is an extended runtime option for the APC Smart-UPS 3000 Tower units. By adding one of these battery packs to an APC Smart-UPS 3000 the runtime on the UPS can be increased significantly.
For example, an APC Smart-UPS 3000 with a 50W load will have a runtime of 8 hours and 51 minutes available. An APC Smart-UPS 3000 with one SU48BP battery pack attached and the same 50W load will have a runtime of 18 hours and 17 minutes. With the battery pack attached there is an increase of 9 hours and 34 minutes!

Installation is very simple! Plug and play. No setup of any kind required. The external battery packs plug into the grey interlock connector on the bottom left side of the UPS.
The APC Smart-UPS SU48BP battery pack will work with the following UPS's: APC Smart-UPS SU3000NET, SU3000TNET (208V)
