Description: The APC AP8959 is a 2G Switched Rack PDU designed for advanced remote power distribution and outlet-level management in data center and network rack environments. This ZeroU vertical PDU provides remote reboot capability, outlet sequencing, real-time power monitoring, and secure network management through Web, SNMP, SSH, and Telnet interfaces. With twenty-one C13 outlets and three C19 outlets, the AP8959 supports a wide variety of servers, switches, storage systems, and enterprise IT equipment while maximizing rack space efficiency. Its switched outlet functionality allows administrators to remotely control individual outlets for power cycling and load management, helping improve uptime and simplify remote infrastructure administration. The AP8959 also supports environmental monitoring, user-configurable alarms, and secure remote access for enterprise deployments.
